The agricultural fields have been in production for many generations. Dairy farming, pick-your own strawberries and fresh corn sales were some of the recent uses of this rich land. Active farming continues under lease by a local farming family and fields continue to remain highly productive including seasonal crop fields, pasture, hay fields and cattle. We are always impressed with and appreciate the care and hard work the farmers invest in all aspects of their work here, which is also important to supporting our ability to call this our home. Though no longer a dairy, our iconic dairy barn is still in active use, and we hope will remain so for many more seasons.
